Black Bean Burgers (AMAZING!)


I'm that obsessed with these black bean burgers that I just HAVE to share the recipe with you! It's a recipe out of the Deliciously Ella cook book and I honestly thought they were going to be horrible but they're that good I could probably eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They're so easy and quick to make as well so you have no excuse not to give them a go! 


What You'll Need:
(Makes approx 4-5 big burgers)

400g Black Beans
3 Tbsp Tomato Puree
2 Tbsp Apple Puree
2 Tsp Tamari
2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
100g Rice Flour
Juice of 1/2 A Lime
Vegan Cheese
4 Burger Buns
Vegan Mayo
Salad
Large Tomatoes
Coconut Oil for frying
Salt & Pepper


1. Add the black beans to a bowl and mash with a fork until almost smooth (you want a few whole ones left as they add texture)



2. Now add the tomato and apple puree and mix until combined!





3. Now add the tamari, apple cider vinegar and lime and mix until smooth. The flour then goes in to make a suitable burger consistency.



4. Add some coconut oil to the pan and spoon the mixture into the pan and shape them so they look like burgers. Pan fry for about a minute or so on each side or until they no longer stick to the pan. Once one side is cooked, you can add on top to melt. Once it's melted you can toast your burger buns and add the toppings!


You absolutely have to try these burgers as they are insanely good and 100% plant based so also very healthy! Let me know what you think!
